How can I make my hair straighter and grow longer, without using any chemical?

In fact, my hair is not so short right now. I want it to grow longer more rapidly and at the same time, I want it to look neat and orderly. I always let my hair dry by itself after baths. My environment is neither humid nor too dry, but just mild and comfortable. I dislike styling gel as it leaves the scalp cold. Perhaps there should be more things to style hair with but i'm dont know enough about it. Thank you

to help your hair grow longer, stimulation of the dcalp is the best answer...when shampooing and conditioning the hair, massage all over your scalp at the same time for about 2 mins for each (shampoo %26amp; conditioner), this helps to increase the blood flow which in turn stimulates the hair follicle and promotes hair growth. for a non-chemical solution to make your hair straight...there is none, hair type is genetic, the only way you can make your hair straight is by getting it chemically straightened or using hair straightners. if using the option of hair straightners, the best ones to use are ones with ceramic plates, but in saying this, do not use all the time as in everyday, this will destroy your hair....dry it out, make the ends appear as if they have been singed with long use.

there are lots of products out there for styling..have you tried mousse? gel is usually used for short hair, for shoulder-length or longer, generally mousse, pompades and hair spray are your best bets...

also i forgot to mention that another way of straightening your hair is to blow dry it straight with a brush (see website link for pic of brush to use), add mousse to towel dry hair, and blow dry by brushing the hair and hovering hair dryer over brush as you brush the hair. this can also help to contribute towards damage of the hair, but not as drastic as chemicals or everyday use of hair straightners...also invest in a deep condition that you can use about every fortnight to help prevent hair damage if you opt for hair straightners or blow drying.

ADDED: for the answers above mine...a heat protection spray is a great option when using heat to straighten hair.

washing hair more often will not help with growth, in fact if you wash your hair too often you can strip the natural goodness of it...about once every 2-3 days is a good routine

ok try vitamin E as it is great for hair and nail growth.then you need to buy some ceramic straightners.they don't damage the hair like hair dryers do.also invest in a heat protection spray. You spray it on and brush through then let it dry.you cannot feel it on your hair at all.then straighten it and you will have long smooth silky hair. Hope this helps.x.

wash it more often, like three times a day, often massage to the head will improve hair growth, and shampoo consists of plenty of vitamins, so wah'em more often and it will grow quicker.

My hair is long and straight. You have to apply pure mustard oil once in a week before going to bed. I hair has grown really long after I came from India to Dubai. You must wash your hair daily and use cold blow dryer to dry your hair. The secret of straight and silky hair i think is cold blow drying, at least it worked on my hair. Beside this I take vitamin e tabs and get hot oil massage once a month.

The only way that I know of is time. And trim your hair when it needs it. The trimming won't help it grow any faster but it will make it look healthier.

Sorry, but I haven't heard of anything that will make it grow faster that actually works, but if you wear it straight it will look longer since the hair shaft is stretched out.

You can make it straight by blow-drying with a round metal brush (the one with the little holes in the metal). You have to do it strand by strand while aiming the blow-dryer directly at the hair on the brush. It's easier than it may sound.
