1) If you cut your hair really short will that make it grow faster and longer?

2) If you comb your hair 100 times will that make it grow faster?

3) If you style your hair a lot, like tieing it back, braiding it, etc, does that stimulate hair growth?

Braiding your hair PULLS your hair and it DOES INDEED stimulate hair growth..

WHY do i know this?

I was a raised in a culture where girls werent allowed to cut their hair. Most girls from birth up ..hair is braided...Their hair is down to their waste by the time they are 3 years old!!!

The DRs say it is due NOT to not cutting it, but by constantly pulling and tugging on it , it stimulates the roots and secretes hormones that causes hair growth and shine, etc.

1. no. the key is to get frequent trims to trim off the split ends so that it can be healthy and be able to grow

2. no. your hair will just become thin and fall out.

1) you dont have to cut it really short to get it to grow faster. all you need is a trim to get off the ends

2) no- there are so many myths about hair but i pretty sure this is NOT true

3) my mom was a professional dancer so she had her hair pulled back almost 24/7 and her hair stopped growing after a while but then she relized and she got it cut and it started to grow back. she also let it down more often

If you trim your hair an inch or two, or just the dead ends off, your hair will grow faster. Brushing it 100 times and styling it alot won't. It damages your hair which would cause it to grow slower.

cutting your hair does not make it grow any faster, it just takes of the split ends. if you brush your hair and put it up it does in fact help it grow stronger because it stimulates the hair folicles
