Does chemicals(relaxer) spoil the hair eventually??

I want my hair natural again, so i do weaves and trim the perm off anytime i re-do the weaves, so my natural hair can grow.Ever since I relaxed my hair, my hair got spoilt, it used to break, and look like it was getting shorter..because i used to have very long hair before I permed it.If my hair gets natural how do i maintain the natural hair, what hair styles can I do.

I am currently natural and went natural in November 2007 by making the big chop. I am now wearing a TWA. The relaxer is only affecting the hair it touches so it isn't spoiling it. If you're brave enough, just cut off all the relaxed hair now and wear twists or an afro. You could even be natural and wear braids while your hair grows out. You have unlimited options with natural hair. The longer your hair gets, the more options you have. It's really easy to maintain natural hair. Just remember to condition your hair and keep your ends clipped. Let your natural hair do as it likes and work with it not against it. Good luck and message me if you want to talk more!

Well u should not keep perming ur hair if your hair is falling out..it depends on what type of hair you got too bc maybe u need to start pressing your hair!!
