she only does the traditional preppy styles.

and i just got it cut last week

and i hate it!!! its just layers and a little piece of short hair someone would call a fringe.

its like everyone elses and i hate it!!

Go to a differnet Hairdresser i am a hairdresser and i do unuseal stlyes and i think every hairdressersn should do un usual looks

i would go to a beauty school. they come up with soo many unique designs that arent "average"

find one by you. its cheap and fun!

Well then she is not a good hairdresser if she only does the same style of hair and wont do what the customer wants. I say find a new one, ask some friends who have scene hair where they got their hair cut. Bring in a picture so the hairdresser will know exactly what to do and you wont be dissatisfied!

try experimenting with hair products! the peoples hair u see and like probs have loads of products, it isnt just naturally like that

get some light sprays..gels etc just have a play around ..u never know u might find a style that u love

lol i didnt like my hairdresser and didnt wanna upset her by going elsewhere so i cut it myself...at least then u no excatly wot u had in mind. lol be careful though could go very wrong!

If she's a family friend and you say you can't change hairstylists...then talk to her and ask her to at least show you different ways you can style it that will make you stand out if she's not willing to cut it how you'd like it.
